Carillon festivals and events are an international gathering point for enthusiasts and professional musicians alike. Founded and run by husband and wife team John and Jackie Romero, they have been organising musical breaks for well over ten years. Recently they expanded the team and have been joined by Gennaro Fiondella and Colette McKeown. With professional concerts and informal sessions from top musicians alongside exhibitions from leading music shops and manufacturers, Carillon shows always offer the highest quality of entertainment, a professional stage setting and a comfortable venue. Whether you play or would just like to spend a few days in the company of like-minded people, the unique, friendly and bubbly atmosphere a Carillon festival really has to be experienced first hand.
Accordion Festivals – Four days of music the way only accordion players know how. Programmes include concerts by both leading UK and International musicians, (please see festival details for artist list). There is, of course, a full supporting cast of traders and displays. Over ten hours of classes also run during each weekend. These include Orchestra’s, group and even individual private lessons. Music genres include Folk, Scottish, Jazz, Classical, Electronic and guests are more than welcome to bring their accordions along for both classes and to join in the afternoon guest concerts.
Message from John Romero and Carillon Studios
“Due to a number of issues, we have over the past months been considering what to do with our festivals and have in fact been considering shutting them down. We have however recently been offered help and it is with great pleasure we can announce Gennaro Fiondella and Colette McKeown are about to join our team. This will enable our Accordion Weekend Holidays to continue on into the foreseeable future”.
There will be loads more information to come as we get the festival organised and we are now taking bookings here.

The Queens Hotel, Eastbourne, Marine Parade, Eastbourne, East Sussex BN21 3DY is one of Eastbourne’s premier hotels. It has a wonderful position on the seafront opposite the pier. The venue has recently had some major upgrades which add to its comfortable atmosphere and this popular venue is always a favourite with our guests. The hotel is equipped with two lifts and parking is easy as the hotel has its own large carpark. If you fancy a break from the music local shopping is plentiful with some great stores just a short walk away.
Please note the following. All festival bookings must be made through CGF Music Ltd (not the hotel) otherwise entry to the festival will be refused. We are fully aware that some people do not like to book via the internet and we welcome bookings by phone if this is the case. You should also be aware that for your protection we operate a ‘money back and nothing else to pay’ cancellation policy against death and severe illness. Weekend and day tickets are available for local residents although these need to be prebooked due to the limited number of spaces available.
